It was relatively warm as Bunny and I drove to Manchester yesterday. We ran a few errands and then hit our favorite spots--Northshire and the Thrift Store.

The Spiral Cafe has a large & lovely upstairs, unknown to me, until Bunny took me there. Their coffee and croissants are pretty good but real reason we go there is to get on line-and surf the net. Bunny has a beautiful state-of-the-art Dell Laptop. We fell into a surfing time warp and when we looked up it was after noon. We packed up and ran.

Is there anything worse for treasure-seekers than arriving late to one of those special days the Thrift Store runs once a month? Talk about shelves picked clean! At first we were totally bummed out! We looked at each other and decided it was a blessing in disguise. Neither one of us really needed anything....
